Carriers want a clean vehicle at drop-off, and an inspection goes faster when they can actually see the paint. We'll get it ready. We're in downtown Honolulu, ten minutes from the harbor.

Shipping dates do not move. Call or text us with the date and we will tell you straight away whether we can fit it in.
It's full of sand
Agricultural inspection is a real thing for vehicles leaving the islands. Soil, sand and plant matter in the carpet and undercarriage are what gets flagged.
You want it documented clean
A vehicle handed over clean is a vehicle you can photograph at drop-off. That is your evidence if it arrives with damage.
What's Included
- Exterior wash
- Undercarriage cleaning, where soil and sand collect
- Interior vacuum, including the trunk or bed
- Wheels and wheel wells
- Windows inside and out, so you can photograph it at drop-off
What we won't promise
- We do not certify your vehicle against any specific carrier's standard. Confirm what Matson, Pasha or your broker requires and tell us when you book, and we will work to it.
- We are not an agricultural inspection service. We clean the vehicle; the inspection is between you and the inspector.
- Heavily soiled vehicles may need a full detail rather than shipping prep. We will tell you which before we start.
Questions
- How far ahead should I book?
- As soon as you have your drop-off date. We can often fit a shipment in at short notice, but the earlier you call the better your odds of the slot you want.
- What does it cost?
- $225 for a car, $275 for an SUV or van, $350 for a truck or extended vehicle.
- Should I empty the car first?
- Yes. Take out personal belongings before you bring it in. Most carriers require the vehicle to be empty anyway, and we can clean far more thoroughly without working around your things.
- How long does it take?
- Plan on leaving the vehicle with us for a good part of the day. Tell us your drop-off deadline when you book and we will work backwards from it.

- Inside Mark's Garage at 1142 Bethel St in Chinatown, downtown Honolulu. Look for the blue "Detailing Shop Car Wash" banner. Call or text (808) 782-1526 if you cannot spot us.
